    The purpose of this patent is to provide a unique laser device that allows minimal invasion to tissue during surgery. Through the use of this instrument, surgery can occur away from the penetration point of the skin, resulting in smaller incisions shorter recovery and less post-operative discomfort.

    With the use of the unique laser device mentioned above, this patent reflects the innovative concept of separating tissue for the purpose of operating on an area distant from the site of entry. This tissue parting technique is applicable for aesthetic procedures such as browlifts, facelifts, breast augmentation and abdominoplasties, as well as various reconstructive procedures.

    Community Involvement

  • Member of Board of Directors, Child Abuse Prevention Society, San Francisco, CA, 1989 - Present

      Organization that raises money for the initial purchase and then operation of a San Francisco-based shelter for abused children. Services of the shelter include emergency help and counseling for parents and children through a "talk line." The center also serves as a respite facility for children in urgent need, and has active counselors who provide ongoing therapy to troubled families.
