Face Procedures

Before: This woman in her 60’s did not like herperi-oral skin wrinkling. She did not want to undergo laser skin resurfacing. She received five InMode FRACTORA skin treatments. Her initial treatment energy levels were low. The radio frequency energy heats the dermal layer of the skin creating new collagen.

After: Six months after her last FRACTORA treatment, she has a softening of her deep wrinkles and an improvement in her skin texture. She received no other treatment modalities such as neurotoxins, skin fillers or chemical peels.

Before: This woman in her 60’s did not like her peri-oral skin wrinkling. She did not want to undergo laser skin resurfacing as she has sun damaged skin on the rest of her face. She received three InMode FRACTORA skin treatments. Her initial treatment energy levels were at a higher level. The radio frequency energy heats the dermal layer of the skin creating new collagen.

After: Six months after her last FRACTORA treatment, she has a softening of her deep wrinkles and an improvement in her skin texture. Her skin color was also improved without a line of demarcation. She received no other treatment modalities such as neurotoxins, skin fillers or chemical peels.

This woman in her 20’s had a previous rhinoplasty by another doctor. She was unhappy with the residual wide nasal tip, irregularities of the dorsum of her nose, the “scooped look” when viewed from the side and the hanging columella (the area at the bottom of her nose). Revision nasal surgery is more difficult than a primary or initial rhinoplasty as the normal anatomy has been altered by the first surgery. It often takes longer to perform and costs more.

2 years after undergoing a re-do rhinoplasty, her appearance is much better. She has a smoother, straighter nasal profile, her nasal tip is thinner and her columella has been raised.

This woman did not like the fullness of her nasal tip. She also did not like the two nasal humps visible in her side profile view. She was an ideal candidate for a restructuring her nasal tip cartilage and reduction in her nasal hump due the prominence of bone and cartilage.

Patients often ask, “How long will the changes last?” These are her results 12 years after surgery. She has a thinner, more refined nasal tip and a smooth, straight nasal dorsum.

This woman in her 30’s wanted her nasal tip thinner. She also wanted to have the hump on her nose reduced. Because her skin was thick, she required cartilage grafts applied as well as reducing extra bone and cartilage from the “full” areas. Her nasal tip cartilages needed to be brought closer together.

1 year after surgery she has a narrower nasal tip. Her nose is straight and her dorsal hump is removed.

This gentleman has a difficult problem to correct. He has extra skin along his neck, a “double line” along his cheek and a tear trough deformity and extra fat along his lower eyelid.

1 year after surgery, his sideburn region is not elevated and he has no scars in the airline behind his ears. His extra skin on his neck is gone and he has a correction of the “double line” on his cheek. His blepharoplasty corrected the eyelid deformity.

This woman wanted to increase the size of her upper lip. She did not want “big” lips but felt that her lips could be larger. Because she has a relatively large space from the bottom of her nose to the upper boarder of her lip, she is an ideal candidate for an upper lip advancement and augmentation. Just “filling” her lips would not provide her with her pre-operative wish. She also did not like the sun-damaged appearance of her skin. During her recovery from her lip surgery, she underwent IPL treatments of her skin to improve the color and texture.

6 months after receiving upper lip advancement and lip augmentation, she has a natural looking increase in the size of her lips. The incisions for her lip augmentation are well hidden at the corners of her lips and at the base of her nose. She also has an improvement in her skin color and texture as a result of her IPL treatments.

Turning 50 y/o, this woman was unhappy with the laxity of the neck skin and naso-labial fold region, the woman was looking for improvement in these areas. Receiving “fillers” in the naso-labial fold region and lower eyelid were a temporary correction she no longer wants to do. She wanted a more permanent solution. She was also concerned about looking pulled if she received a SMAS facelift. The laser vertical facelift was an ideal option for her.

5 years after undergoing a laser vertical facelift and lower eyelid procedure using her own fat to fill in the “trough deformity,” she has a lasting improvement in her naso-labial fold area and neck. There is a natural blend between her cheek area and her lower eyelid region where she had previous “fillers” to deal with the trough deformity of the lower eyelid region.

This woman in her 30’s had a previous rhinoplasty by another physician. She was unhappy with her result. She did not like that her nose was too wide at the tip, her nose was crooked, and her columella, the area below the nasal tip was too low. She required revision rhinoplasty surgery where many techniques were used to address her concerns.

1 year after surgery her nose looks better. Scar tissue and previous grafts were removed. Her nasal tip cartilages were brought closer together. She had cartilage grafts applied to her nasal tip. Grafts were also applied to her dorsal nose to provide a smooth profile. Her nasal septum was straightened and her columella was raised.
